Acrylic paint is best applied in small layers on materials OTHER THAN canvas such as wood, metal, fabric, and ceramics, to allow colors to stand out more after a few layers are applied.

Be sure to lightly spray your color palette (not included) with water before when during painting to keep the acrylic paint from drying up.
